About Hoku Dental Management

Hi, I’m Lena, founder of Hoku Dental Management.

My journey in dentistry began in 2013 as a dental assistant, and throughout my career I have gained experience across nearly every area of the dental office — from chairside assisting to front office operations, insurance verification, treatment coordination, billing, claims management, and revenue cycle support.

With over a decade of dental experience, I have seen firsthand the challenges practices face when trying to balance exceptional patient care with the constant demands of insurance, authorizations, collections, and administrative responsibilities.

I created Hoku Dental Management because I understand the frustration behind delayed claims, denied authorizations, and aging accounts. I have been the person making those calls, submitting those claims, resolving issues, and advocating for the revenue practices have already earned.
